If IP service providers are going to offer competitive products to their TDM counterparts, they must meet their customersÕ service quality and availability expectations. John Roberts, CTO of Windward Consulting Group, will join a panel of experts at VoIP World to discuss these challenges facing service providers. The session, Service Assurance - Delivering "Carrier-Grade" VoIP Service, will address the OSS subsystems that ensure quality and performance standards are met for VoIP, IP-VPN and value-added services. Who
John Roberts brings over 15 years of communications technology experience in the design of large-scale carrier class networks and enterprise management systems. As CTO of Windward, he sets the long-term technology strategy of the company, acts as the technical liaison to partners and vendors, and oversees large consulting projects. Prior to joining Windward, he held several chief and senior engineer positions with consulting companies and telecommunications carriers, and was responsible for the analysis, design, deployment and training for router-based networks.
