Herndon, Va. - December 15, 2004 - Windward Consulting Group, the premier operational management consulting and systems engineering firm, today announced that it has deployed a network management system for XM Satellite Radio, the nation's leading provider of satellite radio services with more than 2.5 million subscribers.
Windward's solutions were utilized to enhance XM's national transmitter network system's redundancy. The newly deployed system provides XM with a fully redundant, fault tolerant network management system to support a mission-critical infrastructure, while controlling overall operational costs and ensuring constant service to the end-user.
